How to save a document / resume without encryption using Window Vista

The windows Vista operating system will automatically save your documents with encryption.  So if you email your document / resume as an attachment the recipient will receive a document that is encrypted so it cannot be read. 

To save your document / resume in a format that is not encrypted follow the instructions below:

·        When you have finished working on your document click on the windows logo at the top left corner of your screen.

·        On the drop down menu go to “save document as”

·        select Word 91 – 2003 Document

On Friday, September 12, 2008, I posted a job opening on Craigslist.   The job is for an Office Assistant, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday paying $11.00 hr. to start.   The response has been overwhelming.   Today is Wednesday, September 17, 2008.    I have received over 250 resumes in response to the ad.    I received over 50 resumes between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Friday, over 100 resumes by 11:00 pm Friday.   

So, if you want your resume to be seriously considered, make sure it looks really good.   Poorly formatted resumes with poor grammer and spelling may be quickly eliminated when the employer has so many resumes to look at and choose from.
