Medical Assistant / Surgery Scheduler
This well established group practice with seven Physicians is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant / Surgery Scheduler. This position will support one Physician / Surgeon and his patients.
• The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting one Physician
with clinical patient care in the office for pre op and post op visits.
Including independent clinical medical care of patients following
Dr.’s care plan.
• Responsible for all surgery insurance authorizations for one
Physician.
• Responsible for all surgery scheduling for one Physician.
• Telephone contact with patients to answer questions and concerns,
educate and prepare for surgery as well as follow up after surgery.
• The rate of pay is $16.00 – 19.00hr. to start plus bonus, health
insurance, paid holidays and vacation. Full time permanent
position.
This position requires at least a year of recent work experience as Medical Assistant with surgery scheduling experience in a medical office or clinic setting.
Must be able to work independently, with good organizational skills, clinical and administrative skills. Please only apply if you have this experience.
